Former No. 7 overall pick Kevin White was released from the Arizona Cardinals after signing with organization in March.
A hamstring injury caused White to miss practice for the past week, so he was unable to showcase his abilities. Couple that with the fact the Cardinals have formidable wide receiving depth, and here we are.
Cardinals released former Bears first-round pick, WR Kevin White, per source. White has recovered from the hamstring injury that kept him out of action for over the past week.

White was the second wide receiver selected in the 2015 NFL Draft behind Amari Cooper, and had his fifth-year option declined by the Bears last season. White has dealt with numerous injuries since being drafted, playing just 14 games in his first four seasons (he played zero in what was supposed to be his true rookie year).
White's rookie year was the most productive season of his short career, as he recorded 187 yards on 19 receptions in four games.
As a 27-year-old former first-round pick, a team in need of depth could certainly give White a call, but whether he can stay on the field to contribute is a whole different story.
