The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the biggest winners in free agency to this point after retaining both Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper, but Joe Thomas doesn't think they're finished spending just yet. Thomas thinks that when it's all said and done, the Cowboys will walk away from free agency with star Seattle Seahawks pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney.

The Cowboys' cap situation means this has almost no chance of happening. Plus, this would be an almost unfair addition to a loaded Dallas defense.

While Clowney's three sacks last year made him a frequent target of critical box score scouts, watching how the Seahawks defensive line operated with him on the field versus when he was on the sideline showed how truly impactful his speed, power and versatility are.

DeMarcus Lawrence might have disappointed last year by virtue of eating too many double teams, but that problem could be remedied by signing a Pro Bowl pass rusher to line up on the other side.

This probably isn't going to happen because the Cowboys would have to do some unthinkable financial gymnastics, but Clowney and Lawrence lining up on the same defensive line has the potential to be transformative. It's fun to think about, at least.
