The controversial Colin Kaepernick NFL workout just got a bit more newsworthy.
Hue Jackson, formerly of the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, will lead Kaepernick's drills that take place this Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia.
Former #Browns coach Hue Jackson will lead the drills during Colin Kaepernick’s workout, source said. Joe Philbin will also be in attendance. 11 teams have already committed to attend. With two days remaining until the workout, the league expects additional teams to commit.

Jackson had resided as the Browns' head coach last season, but was fired after Cleveland started the season 2-5-1, adding to his dismal record of 3-36-1 with the team.
Former Dolphins' coach Joe Philbin will also be assisting Jackson in the drills.
It's an intriguing pairing, considering Jackson's recent bad tenure that saw him get fired and now has him out of the league, which parallels Kaepernick's unceremonious exit and subsequent blackballing. Everyone has been criticizing the workout ever since it was announced given all the shadiness and lack of clarity surrounding it, and it seems the NFL is doing even more to inconvenience Kaepernick by providing him with one of the worst head coaches in NFL history to run the workout.
