Former Maryland QB Kasim Hill Transfers to Tennessee

A top recruit from the class of 2017 is making his way to the Volunteer State.
Former Maryland quarterback Kasim Hill has transferred to Tennessee after spending the last two years with the Terrapins.
Hill started 10 games under center for Maryland last year, but considering they relied heavily on the ground game, he only 170 attempts for 1,083 yards. He suffered an ACL injury late in the season and missed the last two games of the year.
He'll join a roster that already features the likes of Jarrett Guarantano and JT Shrout at the quarterback position. Though he won't be an immediate starter, he's at least in a slightly more balanced offense.
The 6-2-inch gunslinger has shown flashes of brilliance before. He spearheaded an upset victory over the Texas Longhorns just last year, passing for 222 yards and a touchdown as the Terrapins scored 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win 34-29.
There's still a long way for him to go on his journey to fulfilling his potential, but it's undeniable that the tools are there for him to make some noise.
If he gets the opportunity to play consistently with the Volunteers, he could surprise quite a few people.
