Former MLB Player Jerry Hairston Jr Describes His Simple Rehab Process for Aaron Judge's Exact Injury
By Jerry Trotta

After a battery of tests, the New York Yankees revealed that slugging superstar Aaron Judge was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his rib that will shelve him for at least two weeks.
If the team isn't encouraged with Judge's recovery, there's concern that the 27-year-old outfielder may need surgery.
Lucky for the Yankees, former MLB veteran Jerry Hairston Jr. actually sustained the same injury back in the mid-2000s and took to Twitter to describe his simple rehab process which he claims fully healed his rib.
Had exact injury after running into wall in ‘06 & didn’t find out til Sept of ‘07 through Art Howe’s back specialist who finally diagnosed it. It’s rare injury but painful. Couldn’t do ANYTHING for 2 months to make sure it healed. It did & felt great after @TheJudge44 #Yankees https://t.co/ZDHdD9Czie

Is it really that simple? If so, the Yankees should definitely think long term and contemplate shutting Judge down for the next eight weeks.
Relying on a tweet would obviously be foolhardy, so it would behoove the Bronx Bombers to reach out to Hairston for a deeper interpretation of his injury and rehab.
There's also the sheer discrepancy in the body figures of Judge and Hairston. The former stands at 6-7 and weighs 282 pounds, whereas the latter is 5-10 and weighs 195 pounds.
If it’s healing on its own yes.

We'll provide further updates on what the Yankees opt to do with Judge's rehab. If fans in the Bronx want a fully healthy No. 99 come May, they will beg the club to listen to Hairston. Hopefully luck can turn around for this organization.
