Ohio State fans were up in arms after slot cornerback Shaun Wade was ejected for hitting Trevor Lawrence in the head in the second quarter of the Fiesta Bowl, and their anger only managed to increase after the Buckeyes had a touchdown taken off the board.

Clemson wide receiver Justyn Ross clearly hauled in a Lawrence pass, and then had the ball stripped from him. Ohio State's touchdown on the return was puzzlingly nullified after a replay review. Sunday Night Football rules analyst Terry McAulay was livid this call was made despite a lack of clear video evidence that Ross never had possession.

McAulay is saying what most of us were thinking. There is no possible way one can watch this video and see clear and indisputable video evidence Ross never had possession of the ball.

Unless you're a Clemson diehard willfully turning a blind eye, that was nothing short of an egregious mistake that took six points away from a Buckeyes team that lost by six.

Ohio State fans are furious right now and they have every right to be. Simply inexcusable from the officials.
