TJ Lang Remembers Awesome Moment at Lambeau After Beating Vikings on TNF That Packers Fans Will Love
By Tyler Kemp
Former Packers lineman TJ Lang had a solid career in the NFL. As a fourth-round pick by Green Bay, he was a starter on the offensive line that protected Aaron Rodgers en route to a Super Bowl XLV victory and a two-time Pro Bowl selection before retiring in 2018. Now that Lang is two years removed from the game, he has no shame in sharing one of his most fond memories of playing at Lambeau Field.
On October 2, 2014, Green Bay beat down on the rival Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football by a score of 42-10. The best part of the TNF matchup for Lang came after the game with Packer faithful.
Tailgates are always an important part to building up the excitement for a primetime game. This is on another level though. A postgame tailgate in the parking lot outside of Lambeau until 4 a.m.? It doesn't get much better than that. For anyone who doesn't believe Lang, one Packers fan has proof that the man loved throwing back beers at tailgates.
This is the stuff of legends right here in Green Bay. We need more players to let loose like this. Keep being a man of the people, TJ.
