Former Patriots Star Rob Gronkowski Will Co-Host FOX's New Year's Eve Broadcast
Rob Gronkowski's playing days in the NFL are behind him, and but it doesn't look like the former star tight end is too down in the dumps about his retirement.
Apart from launching himself into many new ventures, Gronk has also spent time as a commentator for FOX. That gig seems to be working wonders for him, as he's now touted to co-host FOX's New Year's Eve broadcast alongside Steve Harvey and Maria Menounos.
While Gronkowski's appearances on FOX's NFL in-studio segments have been very entertaining, it will be interesting to see how well he does in this worldwide broadcast event.
NFL fans will surely enjoy Gronk's commentary as he teams up with the other public figures to ring in the new year.
As a Patriots fan, it can be difficult to watch Gronk on television, especially considering the team currently relies upon the likes of Matt Lacosse and Ryan Izzo in his place. With the playoffs looming, fans will certainly be imagining what this team would look like if the tight end were still running routes up the middle.
However, Gronkowski has earned his glorious retirement from the league, as he gave football everything he had and more. We should all be looking forward to his appearance on Tuesday night.
