Chadwick was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round after his tenure with the Vols ended, but he quickly returned to his home state of Georgia in 1971 to coach high school football. Sadly, during that year, he was involved in a car crash that resulted in a brain injury, which permanent affected his motor skills.
Chadwick's final season with the Vols was a memorable one. He ran for 645 yards and a conference-leading 11 touchdowns. In 2013, Tennessee named its running backs room after him, and we're sure there will be some sort of pregame moment of silence for him ahead of Saturday's game.
