The newest Braves catcher just cannot catch a break with his health this season.
In just his third game with Atlanta, Francisco Cervelli went down with another ailment. He suffered a leg injury on Wednesday night attempting to get from first to third base.

The exact injury is unknown, but it was bad enough to knock him out of the game in the second inning.
Third base coach Ron Washington was looking to score Cervelli, but the veteran had no choice but to stop once he realized something was wrong.

He played with fire Monday with his very odd slide into second base, which he luckily escaped without doing any damage to his leg. He has already dealt with concussion issues, which forced him to consider ending his catching career, so it's surprising he's not being as safe as he possibly can.
Cervelli was 5-for-9 since coming to the Braves in replacing Brian McCann, who is on the injured list. So now the Braves have some catching depth issues if Cervelli's injury keeps him out for a decent while.
