Frank Vogel Reveals Anthony Davis Has Surprise Shoulder Injury
By Scott Rogust

The Los Angeles Lakers are on a two-game winning streak following their loss to the cross-town Clippers in their 2019-20 regular season opener. But one of their key players showed up with a previously unrevealed injury on Tuesday night.
Lakers head coach Frank Vogel revealed that Davis had been dealing with soreness in his shoulder ahead of their game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Frank Vogel says Anthony Davis has soreness in his shoulder and is testing it out pregame. Vogel said AD might not play, but expects him to in all likelihood. Davis was not listed on the injury report released by the team.

The injury does come as a surprise considering the team never placed AD on any injury report. An hour before game time, however, the team revealed that Davis would indeed be playing against the Grizzlies, a solidly positive sign.
While this did come out of nowehere, it was Lauren A. Jones of the LA Sentinel who reported that Davis did leave Sunday's game against the Charlotte Hornets with what was at the time called "an apparent shoulder injury." Credit where it's due!
Clearly @LoJoMedia was correct in reporting Sunday there was reason for concern with Anthony Davis’ shoulder.

While Davis is playing on Tuesday night, it will be intriguing to see if he will be subjected to any form of minutes limit. Even so, who knows if the soreness will flare up to a worse degree during the game.
Either way, Anthony Davis is set to take the court, but definitely keep an eye on his shoulder.
