Freddie Freeman, Chipper Jones and Rest of Atlanta Braves Send Heartfelt Mother's Day Wishes to Moms Everywhere
By Nick Porr

This Mother's Day, the Atlanta Braves organization and their players have been sharing their appreciation for moms on their special day. After all, what baseball player doesn't love their No. 1 fan and youth chauffeur (sorry, mom)?!
On Sunday, the Atlanta Braves' twitter account shared a video compilation of their players sending thanks to their moms. The tribute includes star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. giving his best to all the mothers out there battling unprecedented circumstances and highly distant celebrations in 2020.

Braves players have been tweeting out their own personal messages to their moms as well. Four-time All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman tweeted a special message to his wife, as well as his dearly-departed mother.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. Especially to mine in heaven and my amazing wife @chelseafree5 ! Charlie and I love you so much!

Freeman's mother tragically passed when he was just 10 years old after losing a battle with melanoma. Two seasons ago, Freeman dedicated a home run to her 18 years after her passing.
Former Braves star third baseman Chipper Jones also took to twitter to share a special message. Jones specifically mentioned his mother Lynne and wife Taylor.
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there today, especially the two that mean the most to me....my mom, @walkswithdeer and the Queen of my Castle, @lilgeorgiapeach. I love u both very much!

Although this Mother's Day will be different for most due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is wonderful seeing players share their love for the moms in their lives in any way possible. The Braves and their players nailed it on Twitter on this special Sunday.
