Kirby Smart's Bulldogs are getting some additional help offensively thanks to th NCAA's transfer portal. On Monday, Florida State Seminoles tight end Tre' McKitty announced that he'll be transferring to the University of Georgia.
The Noles pass-catcher entered the transfer portal on Jan. 9 following his third season with the program. He's headed to Athens as a graduate transfer, making him eligible to play in 2020 without sitting out a year.

McKitty, a former 3-star recruit out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, performed serviceably for FSU over the past couple seasons, though he has yet to score a collegiate touchdown. He has hauld in 50 passes for 520 yards, and is listed at 6-4 and 235 pounds.
For a Bulldogs team losing multiple key offensive weapons to the NFL Draft, his addition is a welcome one.
I have been watching Jamie Newman all season with the ACC network. Georgia just landed a great one! I predict he will be the best quarterback in the SEC! Go Dawgs!

Acquiring Wake Forest transfer quarterback Jamie Newman was a crucial step for the Dawgs in setting the table for next season. With McKitty joining the ranks as well, things are only looking brighter for UGA.
