Give it up for Lil' Spider! Though he hasn't yet made his debut as a mixed martial artist, Gabriel Silva is clearly channeling his legendary dad as he tears through the kickboxing ranks. The son of all-time MMA legend Anderson Silva claimed another scalp this weekend at FightersRep 9 in Seal Beach, California, wrecking Christian Williams by TKO in Round 3.

The referee saw the writing on the wall and made the admittedly smart decision to stop this one, sparing the previously undefeated Williams from additional punishment.

Now 5-0 as a pro kickboxer, the 22-year-old Silva left the event with two championship belts -- and even heavier expectations. This kid will certainly be one to watch in the coming years in combat sports, and one day, the allure of the UFC might be too strong to deny any longer.
