George Pickens Stat From Freshman Season Should Terrify Rest of SEC

Georgia's young wide receiver corps slowly matured through the course of the 2019 season, and despite the lack of Spring Practice, this group should only get better in the 2020 campaign.

With new QB Jamie Newman under center, he'd be wise to look for George Pickens early and often, especially as the Dawgs look to get out to a hot start in life after Jake Fromm. Doing so will be easier said than done, but at the very least, Pickens has all the makings of an absolute stud. This stat, courtesy of Pro Football Focus, proves just that.

If Pickens were eligible to enter in the 2020 NFL Draft, he'd have an argument to be selected in the first three rounds -- and that's with a loaded wide receiver class. He's just that talented, and he showed his ability with highlight-reel catches in practice paired with productivity when it counted most.

Holy moly. Drawing comparisons to AJ Green in his freshman year was just the beginning for this former 5-star recruit.
