The Georgia Bulldogs may have come up short in Saturday night's SEC Championship game, but rumors have begun to swirl that they might lose one of the most trusted members of their coaching staff as well.

Sam Pittman, the associate head coach/offensive line coach for the Dawgs, appears poised to take the reins as the head coach for the University of Arkansas.

The 59-year-old Pittman has over thirty years over coaching experience, and his addition to the Razorbacks program could be exactly what the school needs in order to climb out of the SEC basement.

Moreover, Pittman was a member of Brett Bielema's staff at Arkansas from 2013-2015. Assuming Pittman takes the job, his exit from Georgia could really hurt the program, as he is one of the most experienced and respected figures on Kirby Smart's staff.

The Razorbacks have been dismal in the past couple of seasons under Chad Morris, with a 4-20 overall record. Unlike Morris, who carried a reputation as an "offensive guru" before accepting the Razorbacks job, Pittman is a seasoned ball coach with a diverse set of coaching knowledge.

There's nowhere to go but up with this Arkansas program.
