With Tennessee coming off six straight wins to finish 2019 as well as a current top-three recruiting class, Georgia and their fans are trying to stand their ground as the top team in the SEC East.

To cement themselves as the top dogs in the SEC East division, Georgia needs to recruit some stars to strike back against Tennessee. Here's three recruits that these schools are fighting for that would give some extra momentum for the Bulldogs.

3. CB Isaiah Johnson

According to 247 Sports, Johnson has the Vols and the Bulldogs among his top choices. The cornerback has many coachable traits that can develop into a big time play-maker. Johnson's got a good frame, standing at 6-2, and he has very fluid technique that should translate to the college level. The 4-star recruit would be a nice addition to a Georgia secondary that is currently lacking in the 2021 class.

2. RB Cody Brown

Brown is another four star recruit that these two teams are vying for. He is a player that is already physically developed, as he stands at 6-0 and 225 pounds, which projects him as a nice fit in the SEC. With Georgia losing De'Andre Swift to the NFL, Brown would be a good addition to the storied tradition of running backs for Georgia.

1. DE Jahvaree Ritzie

Ritzie would be a nice addition to the Bulldogs, as he projects to be a multi-year starter in the SEC. Georgia will again have to fight for him, as many other teams, including Tennessee, are fighting for his services. National Recruiting Editor for 247 Sports Brandon Huffmann raved about Ritzie's physical abilities as well as the possible progression he can make with his pass-rushing technique. We couldn't agree more, as the tap checks out.
