Georgia Claiming Atlanta as its Own on Recruiting Trail is Hilarious Troll of Georgia Tech

This is sure to draw laughs from the Georgia faithful in Athens, while Georgia Tech fans are certainly going to be fuming.
In the recruiting world, anything goes for Kirby Smart and his coaching staff. Even claiming a city that's more than 70 miles away? Goodness me, this is cold from UGA!
This new “Welcome to Atlanta” sign in the UGA locker room is absolutely hilarious.

That would be like Notre Dame having a sign in their locker room saying “Welcome to Chicago”

The 52-7 spanking Georgia gave Georgia Tech on Nov. 30 certainly wasn't enough. Nope, the Bulldogs had to go above and beyond to let everyone know the entire state is theirs, even Atlanta.
A quick search on Google Maps tells us it's about 90 minutes driving from Athens to the ATL. GT's campus is located on North Ave in Atlanta. Something tells me the Yellow Jackets should have the right to call the city theirs, but hey, what do I know.

With Early Signing Day arriving on Wednesday too, Georgia is all set to bring in another high-profile class. All things are going smoothly for the Bulldogs in Athens right now. Oh, pardon me, I mean Atlanta.
