Georgia Dual-Sport Athlete Commit Reopens Recruitment After Clemson Offer
By Michael Luciano

Always leave it to Dabo Swinney to find a way to steal the best quarterback prospects in the country away from other top programs.
Clemson has tried to woo 2021 quarterback Bubba Chandler away from his Georgia commitment by giving Chandler an offer that would allow him to play baseball in addition to football. Chandler has officially left Kirby Smart at the altar after he decided to reopen his recruitment with the intent of playing both baseball and football in college.

Chandler completed 75 percent of his passes while throwing for 2,098 yards and 27 touchdowns while adding 500 yards as a rusher. As a baseball player, he hit .419 while posting a 1.00 ERA. It's no wonder why both programs want him so badly.
While Chandler would be a great fit at both schools, he might struggle for time at Clemson on account of fellow dual-sport athlete DJ Uiagalelei, who just happened to be the No. 1 quarterback in his class.
