Georgia remains No. 1 in the country in new AP Top 25 rankings
Will the Georgia Bulldogs be able to three-peat? UGA has been brilliant the past two seasons and more of the same is expected for the 2023 campaign. Well, things got off to a sensational start last weekend, with the Bulldogs dominating Tennessee-Martin.
In that Week 1 tilt, Kirby Smart's men came out on top 48-7. In the victory, quarterback Carson Beck tossed for 294 yards and a touchdown. With UGA playing so well, it's no shock that they remain the No. 1 team in the country per the AP Top 25 Week 2 rankings.
Next up for Smart and Co. will be a showdown this weekend with Ball State. Then in Week 3 the first SEC battle of the year will take place, with the Bulldogs set to face off against South Carolina - that should be a fun one.
Each fall, Georgia impresses with its spectacular play and fans are excited to see what they can get done in 2023. It could be another year to remember for them.
