Georgia Should 100% Regret Choosing Jake Fromm Over Justin Fields
By Jerry Trotta

If Jake Fromm's performance last weekend in an upset loss at home against South Carolina taught us anything, it's that he's clearly holding the Georgia Bulldogs back from achieving their full potential -- a team which should be contending for a national championship in the College Football Playoff.
The fact of the matter is that Justin Fields, who transferred from UGA this past offseason, has the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes very much in the discussion for the best team in the nation.
As things currently stand, Georgia should absolutely be regretting their decision to let Fields enter the transfer portal.

To think that Fields, who is fresh off recording four touchdowns in Friday night's beatdown of Northwestern, is keeping up with the likes of Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa in the 2019 Heisman race is nothing short of extraordinary given the historic campaigns that the Oklahoma and Alabama quarterbacks are mustering.
For the season (seven games), Fields is 116-of-164, good for a 70.7 completion percentage, for 1,492 yards, while throwing for 22 touchdowns compared to one interception.
Additionally, the Buckeyes dual-threat stud has rushed 63 times for 291 yards (4.6 yards per carry), and an additional eight touchdowns. Did we mention that Ohio State is 7-0?

Fromm, on the other hand, is completing 70.4% of his passes (114-of-162) for 1,371 yards, and just 9 touchdowns with 3 interceptions.
Those figures obviously don't jump off the screen, and the eye test won't do him any more favors. He's been erratic on an abundance of throws, and displays anything but composure in a collapsing pocket.
Kirby Smart and Georgia opted to go with a more "established" and stereotypical pocket quarterback in Fromm instead of the dynamic phenomenon that is Fields. And the contrast in which the two gunslingers have been playing thus far should have the Dawgs wishing they could go back in time.
