Georgia Tech Not Naming a Starting QB to Confuse Clemson is Adorable
By Michael Luciano

Former Temple head coach Geoff Collins is widely expected to go through a year of blowout losses at Georgia Tech, as he is trying to ween the Yellow Jackets off of the triple option style that Paul Johnson had perfected into a spread attack.
Their first game comes against none other than the doomsday machine that is Trevor Lawrence, Dabo Swinney and Clemson on Thursday Night. When Tech released their first depth chart of the season, they didn't name a starting quarterback. While Collins insists this has to do with accountability and a new way of thinking involving the GT football program, we can't help but wonder if he was trying to throw Clemson for a loop.

Yeah, I'm sure Clemson is REALLY quaking in their boots after seeing this brain-teaser.
While there are a couple holdovers from Johnson's days on the roster, it was widely expected, and remains likely, that 6-3, 215 pound dropback quarterback Lucas Johnson is going to be the starter.
Tobias Oliver ran the triple option well, and is still listed as a quarterback, but it's likely he'll see time at other positions if he isn't named the starter.

Unless the Yellow Jackets can pull a Chaminade against Virginia and take down Clemson, Collins' attempt at misdirection is going to fall flat.
