Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy has reportedly left Cleveland without a deal in place.

However, according to Mary Kay Cabot, discussions will be ongoing between the two teams as the Browns attempt to secure the talented veteran to bolster their interior defensive line.

McCoy, 31, is a six-time pro-bowler and four-time all-pro who was cut by the Buccaneers on May 20. He would be a valuable addition to an already-loaded Browns defensive line that includes Myles Garrett, Olivier Vernon, and Sheldon Richardson.

Prior to the visit, the Browns had been considered the front-runner to sign McCoy, and it's unclear if that remains the case now that they failed to keep him in Cleveland. If the Browns do not manage to get a contract done, at least they can take solace in the fact that Myles Garrett doesn't think they need him.

After failing to get a deal done with the Browns, McCoy will visit the Baltimore Ravens, according to Cabot. The Ravens could use a player like McCoy after losing talented defenders Za'Darius Smith and CJ Mosley in free agency.
