Gerrit Cole and Wife Amy Reveal They're Expecting Their First Child in 2020

Things truly couldn't get much better for Gerrit Cole right now.

He is fresh off signing the richest contract for a pitcher in MLB history for the club that he grew up adoring as a child -- the New York Yankees.

And on Wednesday, Cole and his wife embraced the New Year by revealing on Instagram that they will be welcoming their first child in June.

What a joyous moment for the celebrity couple. Yankees fans will be absolutely delighted to know that their new ace will become a father a few months into the 2020 campaign.

After all, come June they will have a new fan to welcome to the fold.
