VIDEO: Giannis Antetokounmpo Murders Hornets With Spin Move and Dunk
By Jerry Trotta
The Milwaukee Bucks were surprisingly stuck in a slugfest against the lowly Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, leading by just one point with approximately six minutes remaining in regulation. Realizing how poor his team was performing, Giannis Antetokounmpo did what most MVP's should in situations like this: take over. The perennial superstar got the rally started by showcasing a devastating spin move that gave him the required momentum to take off for a thunderous dunk.
Suffice it to say that this highlight reel squeezed all the life out of the Hornets' impressive upset efforts. After Giannis detonated, Milwaukee imposed its will on Charlotte en route to a 93-85 dub.
The Greek Freak finished with 41 points on 17-for-28 shooting, alongside 20 (!) rebounds, and six assists in what was his first 40-20 game of his career. Someone tell James Harden that posting that ferocious of a stat line takes a little bit of skill.
