Giannis Antetokounmpo Reveals He's Going to Be a Father
By Chris Russo
The Greek Freak is going to be playing with some added strength in 2020.
Milwaukee Bucks star and defending NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has announced he and his girlfriend Mariah Danae Riddlesprigger are expecting their first child, tacking on the joy to a great last few months for him.
Riddlesprigger announced the news via Instagram with a picture of a bib showing the back of a "next" Antetokounmpo jersey, along with a stuffed giraffe and a frame saying, "Baby Fr34k Coming Soon".
The post also featured the caption, "MVB 'Most Valuable Baby' On His Way", meaning the next Greek Freak is more likely to play in the NBA than the WNBA.
If you thought Giannis was already unstoppable force, just wait until the immeasurable "Dad Strength" gets added to his arsenal. There won't be a player willing to step in front of him while he attacks the basket in the name of his future child.
After an MVP season that saw him average 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists, we can only expect those numbers to rise following the birth of his first child.
Giannis' baby will be beloved by the entire city of Milwaukee, just like his father.
