Giants CB DeAndre Baker and Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar Accused of Armed Robbery in Florida
By Mark Powell

Former first-round pick DeAndre Baker was hoping for a bounce-back Year 2 in the Meadowlands in 2020, but such a concept took a significant step in the wrong direction, as he, along with new-Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar, are in some trouble with the law.
Baker was selected with the 30th overall pick out of Georgia in 2019, while Dunbar was acquired this offseason by Seattle from the Washington Redskins. Both are facing armed robbery allegations stemming from a night out partying in Florida.

Warrants have been issued for both players by the Miramar Country Police Department, and they could very well face charges should police find evidence of such actions that they've been accused of doing. The details of said accusation are a bit fuzzy, per the TMZ report, but a weapon was allegedly involved, which aided a robbery.

Both Baker and Dunbar were expected to compete for starter's minutes this coming season, with the Georgia product in particular awaiting a large step forward to prove Dave Gettleman correct. Dunbar, meanwhile, has to live up to the fifth-round asking price Seattle sent back to the Redskins for his services.
From @MiramarPD: An arrest warrant is out for #Giants CB DeAndre Baker and #Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar. Charged with four counts of Armed Robbery with a Firearm and four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Charges stem from an incident that occurred on May 13.

We'll have more information on this case as it becomes available, but for now, the allegations should be treated with caution. Both Baker and Dunbar are innocent until proven guilty despite their high-profile status.
