The Eagles have been a disappointment, especially over the last few games. Right now they're 5-7 and currently the losers of three straight, including a demoralizing defeat to the Dolphins. Thankfully for them, everyone else in the NFC East is completely incompetent. The Cowboys are the only team ahead of them in the standings, but can be overtaken with a couple wins.
The Giants, on the other hand, have no shot of winning the NFC East or making the playoffs. Their 2-10 record is second-worst in the league and they're currently on an eight-game losing streak. Daniel Jones won't be playing Monday due to an ankle injury, which means Eli Manning will be making the start for old times' sake.
