Giants hoping to still give Saquon Barkley a multi-year deal

After placing the non-exclusive franchise tag on Saquon Barkley, everyone assumed he'd be playing the 2023 season on that deal. However, that doesn't appear to be the case, as general manager Joe Schoen is still hoping to make a new contract happen for him.

There's still a gap between the two sides, but there's optimism that a 3-4 year deal can happen for him. Will Schoen be able to get things done?

Barkley reminded people of how dangerous he can be with the ball in his hands, and now he wants to be paid like one of the top RBs in the league. We'll find out soon if that happens.
