The New York Giants aren't gunning for the NFL postseason this year, based on their turbulent offseason.

However, regardless of the best-laid plans and their intentions, this certainly wasn't supposed to be a part of the equation.

Just one practice into the campaign, WR3 Corey Coleman, hoping for a breakout year after being given another opportunity, is instead out for the entire season.

Sterling Shepard's broken thumb, also suffered on Thursday, may keep him out for Week 1, but ultimately registers as good news for this team (could've been worse!). The Coleman Bomb that followed, however, absolutely does not.

Coleman, in eight games and a single start last season, caught five balls for 71 yards. The 15th overall pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2016, the former Baylor wideout's bad hands became a symbol for Cleveland's dysfunction. Now on another rebuilding team, the 25-year-old receiver will not have the chance to make his mark on the league thanks to the whims of training camp.

Depressing.
