Giants Release Official Injury Update on Saquon Barkley Postgame
By Chris Pyo

Well Giants fans, you got your win. Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones absolutely balled out in his first career NFL start, throwing for 336 yards and two touchdowns, as well as rushing for two touchdowns, as the New York Giants beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-31 in Tampa Bay.
Unfortunately, every win comes with a price, as it was announced that star running back Saquon Barkley has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain.
Giants diagnosed RB Saquon Barkley with a high ankle sprain and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, per source.

An MRI on Monday could further clarify said diagnosis.
Barkley took an awkward hit late in the second quarter and had to be helped off the field, which is never good news. He exited the game with 10 rushing yards on eight carries, along with four receptions for 27 yards. Barkley's exit meant that Daniel Jones really had to heat up in the second half, and as evidenced by the Giants win, he did just that.

Just as the Giants get Sterling Shepard back from injury, Barkley has to go down with an issue that could potentially force him to miss upwards of four weeks. These are the New York Football Giants, after all.
Hey, at least they got the win on the road this week. That's a lot more than the Jets can say.
