Giants remain hopeful they can sign Daniel Jones to multi-year deal
Come March 7, the Giants will have to decide whether or not to place the non-exclusive franchise tag on quarterback Daniel Jones. The former No. 6 overall pick wants a new long-term deal from the team, but his asking price is a bit high.
With this, general manager Joe Schoen knows he has a tough decision to make, but he remains optimistic that a new deal will be reached.
Schoen knows there's still plenty of work to be done to meet in the middle, but there's still some time to figure things out. If order for that to happen, though, Jones may need to bring down his asking price by a large number.
