Giants Reportedly Interviewing Cowboys' Kris Richard to Replace Pat Shurmur as Head Coach

Following the nightmare 4-12 campaign the New York Giants just wrapped up, the front office had no choice but to let Pat Shurmur go. Now, the hunt for a new leader of the team begins.
According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, the G-Men will be interviewing Cowboys passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach Kris Richard.

This makes sense, as Richard is a rising star in the coaching world and figures to be given a shot as a head coach sooner than later. Also, his status with Dallas is totally up in the air.
Conflicting reports surfaced on Monday morning stating the entire Cowboys staff had been fired by Jerry Jones. While Richard awaits to hear whether or not Jason Garrett will return to the Big D next season, he'll be busy setting up flights to New Jersey to meet with the Giants.
I’m told #Cowboys passing game coordinator/defensive backs coach Kris Richard is schedule to interview with the #Giants for its head coach vacancy on Thursday, per source.

Richard was with the Seahawks from 2010-2017, and then joined Dallas last year. Could he end up making the jump from one NFC East team to another? We'll have to wait to find out.
