Aubrey Huff was one of most impactful players on the Giants during the team's 2010 World Series run, but it seems he's fallen out of favor with the organization of late.

Due to Huff's controversial social media posts, the Giants have declined to invite the 43 year old to the 10-year anniversary of the 2010 championship.

"Earlier this month, we reached out to Aubrey Huff to let him know that he will not be included in the upcoming 2010 World Series Championship reunion. Aubrey has made multiple comments on social media that are unacceptable and run counter to the values of our organization. While we appreciate the many contributions that Aubrey made to the 2010 championship season, we stand by our decision," the Giants said in a released statement.

That season, Huff hit 26 homers and drove in 86 RBI while slashing .290/.385/.506, finishing seventh in National League MVP voting. Despite those immense contributions to the championship team, his political views seem to have cost him a chance to reunite with his former teammates.

Reached over the phone for comment via the Athletic, Huff said, "Quite frankly, shocked. Disappointed. If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be having a reunion. But if they want to stick with their politically correct, progressive bulls**t, that’s fine."

Huff spent 13 years in the major leagues, playing his final three seasons as a member of the Giants.
