The New York Giants already had a problem at the wide receiver position entering Saturday morning, as Corey Coleman tore his ACL, Sterling Shepard broke his thumb, and Odell Beckham Jr. finally escaped. However, can we interest you in another disaster?

Offseason addition Golden Tate has received a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance enhancing substance policy.

However, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the 30-year-old wideout will appeal the suspension.

Tate believes that he has a legitimate shot at winning his case, but there's no guarantee that he'll have the suspension shortened or overturned.

Tate's suspension has been looming for weeks, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, so you wonder why the Giants weren't more proactive in adding more talent at the wide receiver position, especially since Tate was expected to be New York's top veteran receiver.

On top of the Coleman injury and Tate's potential suspension, the Giants are also dealing with fractured thumb to receiver Sterling Shepard. So, when is tight end Evan Engram going to have a problem of some sort?
