Gleyber Torres' Historic Wednesday Landed Him in MLB History Books
By Brendan Azoff

Gleyber Torres is just in his second full season as a Yankee, but his name has already been tossed around with all-time greats due to the incredible level of his play. On Wednesday night in Baltimore, his two homers against the Orioles put his name in the history books.
Gleyber Torres (22 yrs, 160 days old) is the youngest player in AL history with 6 career multi-HR games.

The American League has seen many prolific power hitters over the years, but none have reached six multi-homer games quicker than Torres has. It is an amazing accomplishment considering the greats that have played the game, and that is not even the only record breaking feat he accomplished in his outburst Wednesday.
Gleyber Torres is:

-The 4th player ever with 4 multi-HR games in a season vs. the same team

Torres also became the fourth player ever to hit four multi-homer games against one team, and the first since 1955. The amazing thing about this is that we are not even two full months into the season, and Torres still gets eight more cracks at Baltimore.
It has been Gleyber Day at Camden Yards every time the Yankees have stepped onto the field in Baltimore, and Torres kept his historic pace going with home runs No. 9 and 10 against the O's in a 7-5 win Wednesday night.
