Gleyber Torres Has an All New Hairstyle and He Looks Completely Different
By Brady Williams
As quarantine continues, many of us are having to alter our grooming habits. While some have chosen to let themselves go, it seems New York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres has taken the opportunity to try out a new look.
A picture has surfaced of the 23-year-old star, and he's taken his now-much-longer hair and had it fashioned into cornrows.
The new 'do coupled with his goatee is a far cry from his usual in-season appearance. The famously clean-cut Yankees must be enjoying having time to grow out their hair. It's something we can probably all relate to, with access to barbers being limited. Torres has practically assumed a new identity.
Different or not, his natural style is certainly a better look than teammate Giancarlo Stanton's artificial one.
Whether or not he likes the new look is unclear, but we're sure like the rest of us, he'd gladly shave it all for a chance to get back to baseball. With rumors of the sport returning as early as June, his new style may not be long for this world, so he'll need to enjoy it for now.
