Green Bay Press-Gazette Posts Touching Cover After Bart Starr's Death

Legendary Packers quarterback Bart Starr passed away on Sunday at the age of 85 after battling health issues stemming from a pair of strokes and a heart attack in 2014. The Hall of Famer won five titles with Green Bay and will forever be remembered for the legend he was on the football field and for the kindness and generosity he displayed off of it.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette honored the late quarterback on Monday with a truly touching memorial on the cover of their paper.

The cover is beautiful, and shows Starr happily playing the game he loved, which is how people should always remember him.

Starr's health continued to deteriorate since '14, but his ferocious spirit enabled him to power on for several years despite the numerous ailments.

Starr remains the only QB in history to lead a team to three consecutive titles, and his resume shines in comparison to other all-time greats. The former MVP has always been underrated, but will forever be remembered as a Packers legend.
