Absurd Details Emerge From Greg Robinson's Drug Arrest at United States-Mexico Border
By Jack Murphy
On Monday morning, free agent offensive lineman Greg Robinson was arrested for the possession of marijuana at the USA-Mexico border. New details have emerged since the initial report and they are absurd to say the least.
According to TMZ, Robinson was busted for possession of 157 pounds of weed and is facing up to 20 years in federal prison.
Now in a world with Josh Gordon, it is not uncommon to see NFL players be punished due to marijuana. However, possessing 157 pounds of the drug (allegedly) is simply insane. Police allege that Robinson was intending to sell these drugs as they also found 23 mason jars.
Robinson was also with ex-NFL player Quan Bray who is facing similar charges.
The part of this that is really bizarre is that Robinson made $6.4 million dollars in 2019. Why would he (allegedly) put himself in this sort of situation?
Robinson, who happens to be a free agent after spending this past season in Cleveland, started 14 games for the Browns in 2019.
