Gregg Popovich Has Hilariously Negative Comment About Tim Duncan's Hall of Fame Chances
By Michael Luciano

Tim Duncan is just months away from being enshrined into the National Basketball Hall of Fame, but his head coach doesn't seem to think him making it to the Hall is a surefire thing.
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, in his traditionally wry, sarcastic style, claimed that Duncan, currently an assistant coach with the Spurs, needs to perform better in his new role before he can be considered a sure bet to get inducted.
Gregg Popovich, on Tim Duncan's Hall of Fame candidacy: “I think a lot will have to do with how he does as an assistant the next few months. If the record turns around, I’d vote for him for sure.”

Classic Pop. We're sure Duncan is as close to a mortal lock to make the Hall of Fame as there is in the league.
Over Duncan's 19 seasons with the Spurs, he averaged 19.0 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.He made 15 All-NBA and All-Defensive teams, winning two MVP awards, five rings, and three Finals MVP awards in the process.
Duncan will likely enter the Hall of Fame alongside the likes of Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett, while Chris Bosh and WNBA star Tamika Catchings could end up in the Hall as well.

Despite his coach's pessimistic attitude, the greatest power forward in NBA history is all but assuredly going to get the call to Springfield, thanks to his legendary career.
