Yes, Gregg Popovich's engagements with the basketball media are famous for qualifying as everything from teeth-gnashingly standoffish to Theatre of the Absurd, but this is something else entirely. With his San Antonio Spurs mired in an eight-game losing streak, he spoke with reporters ahead of Saturday's road game against the Knicks... and literally denied factual things that were happening.
