Grizzlies' Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant Rip Andre Iguodala After His Latest Trade Demands
By Karl Rasmussen
Andre Iguodala has yet to feature in a game for the Memphis Grizzlies this year, and with the trade deadline looming, the veteran forward is looking to force a move out of town.
Well, after he doubled down on his trade demands on Monday, teammate Dillon Brooks didn't hold back when commenting on the matter, taking a shot at the veteran.
"I can't wait till we can find a way to trade him so we can play him. Show him what Memphis is all about," said Brooks.
Iguodala announced Monday that he intends to sit out the remainder of the season if the Grizzlies don't offload him. Even more difficult is that Iggy has a list of "agreed-upon teams" to which he would enable the Grizz to trade him.
Brooks wasn't the only one to chime in, as Ja Morant also left his two cents on the situation via Twitter.
The Grizzlies have long been rebuilding, but it seems this year they're starting to put everything together. Despite acquiring Iggy over the offseason, he has not been apart of the team's return to relevance, and it seems as if him trying to force a move has rubbed his teammates the wrong way.
