Carter is well-known for his defensive abilities, winning the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award with West Virginia in 2018, in addition to winning the Lefty Driesell Award and NABC Defensive Player of the Year twice each. As for Washburn, the former NBA G-League champion is attempting to make a name for himself and has succeeded thus far, dropping 20 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and recording 2 steals in his first taste of 2019 Summer League play.
