Rob Gronkowski turned football upside down when he returned to the NFL after a brief hiatus. He forced the New England Patriots to trade him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, giving him the green light to play alongside Tom Brady once again. FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer talked with Gronkowski after he passed his physical and made the deal official, and Gronk himself claimed that returning to the NFL "feels right," adding that he's ready to get back on the field after a year away from the game in retirement.

(We're surprised that Glazer didn't tease this until 11 p.m. at night tomorrow.)

Gronkowski, who caught 47 balls for 682 yards and three scores in a 13-game regular season marred by injury in 2018, once spoke about how he left the game because he felt like it was "bringing him down." His latest comments, however, show that he has rediscovered that spark and is excited to get to work with Brady and head coach Bruce Arians, and that he's feeling well physically.

Might those comments about why be left the Patriots after 2018 actually have been a veiled shot at head coach Bill Belichick? We can't rule it out.

Not only is Brady getting Gronk back, but he's getting a healthy, motivated Gronk after his sabbatical in 2019. That should really frighten the rest of the league.
