Everyone thought pass-rusher Haason Reddick was happy when he was traded by the Eagles to the New York Jets. Reddick wanted a fresh start and it seemed like he was going to be fine playing under the final year of his current contract.

So much for that. According to insider Ian Rapoport, Reddick, who has been away from the team, has informed the front office that he wants out. That's right, he has officially requested a trade out of town:

Something like this would only happen to the Jets. Reddick is a standout pass-rusher and he was supposed to make the NY defensive front even stronger. Now, though, he's not going to play a down until the front office gives him more money.

The Jets aren't planning on trading him, which could make this situation even more dramatic. We'll see which side gives in first with Week 1 sneaking up on us.
