Hank Haney should be ashamed of himself.

On a radio show on Wednesday, Haney, one of the top golf instructors in the game, disrespected the LPGA tour with a comment that is stunningly racist and sexist.

"I couldn't name four players," said Haney of the LPGA Tour. "Wait, yes I could, I'll just go with Lee."

Haney also apathetically predicted that a Korean would win, admitting to not knowing who was playing in the U.S. Women's Open nor the location of the event.

It's a stunning and hideous display of arrogance and utter disrespect for some of the best golfers in the world.

His offensive comments speak to the larger issue of sexism in golf. Numerous people have inexplicably defended him on social media.

Michelle Wie, one of the few female golfers that Haney even admitted to knowing, called out his shameful remarks.

Wie is right. This is no laughing matter. Haney should take some time to consider the effect of his comments and what they say about both him and the golf world as a whole.
