Hard-Hitting 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk to Miss Significant Time With MCL Sprain
By Ryan Giglio

Fans typically love the aggressive players on their favorite team that hustle every moment they're on the field.
But the sad reality is that hard-nosed nature tends to lead to more injuries.
Just ask San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who will miss 4-6 weeks with an MCL sprain.
The #49ers announce that FB Kyle Juszczyk has an MCL sprain and will be out approximately 4-6 weeks.

Juszczyk initially hurt his knee while blocking a defender during the third quarter of Monday's win over the Browns. The fullback was taken out after the play and missed the rest of the game.
The loss of Juszczyk is big for an undefeated 49ers team that's also leads the NFL in rushing. The running game already has taken a hit this season with Tevin Coleman missing two games and tackle Joe Staley still shelved with a broken leg.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan is expected to get creative in replacing the fullback. On Monday, the offensive-minded coach used tight ends Ross Dwelley and George Kittle in Juszczyk's place.
Time to look forward: How will the 49ers deal with Kyle Juszczyk's presumed absence? The good news: Shanahan has stocked up on agile, versatile blockers. He used Ross Dwelley at fullback last night, and a guy named George Kittle has the skill set, too.... pic.twitter.com/FmVxA9FkvG

The Niners have dealt with several big injuries this season and have still yet to lose a game, so hopefully for San Fran fans that trend can continue with Juszczyk on the shelf.
