Hawk Harrelson, Tom Hamilton, and Mike Shannon Highlight 2020 Ford C. Frick Award Finalists

Whether you listen to baseball on the radio or TV, broadcasters paint the picture of what's going on out on the field. They are part of the fabric of this game, which is why every year one of the greats receive the Ford C. Frick Award and goes to Cooperstown.
The 2020 finalists have been revealed, and boy they are all deserving candidates.
The eight finalists for the 2020 Frick Award: Joe Castiglione, Jacques Doucet, Tom Hamilton, Ken Harrelson, Pat Hughes, Ned Martin, Mike Shannon and Dewayne Staats.

On Dec. 11, the Frick Award winner will be named. Hawk Harrelson is the one name that jumps out, as he spent 33 years as the voice of the Chicago White Sox that ended last September. His catch phrases are so memorable and how he isn't in Cooperstown already is beyond us.

The likes of Joe Castiglione, Tom Hamilton, Pat Hughes, Mike Shannon and Dewayne Staats are still in the booth, while Jacques Doucet and Ned Martin are the only two finalists who are no longer with us.
