As the Kansas City Chiefs and their fans are celebrating winning Super Bowl LIV, former longtime Chiefs head coach Marty Schottenheimer posed for a picture with his son, Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian, which he later posted to Twitter.

Marty was the Chiefs' head coach from 1989-1998, and while he never hoisted up the Lombardi Trophy, he led Kansas City to seven playoff appearances during his tenure. Now, Schotty is happy as any that the Chiefs are the champions of the NFL for the first time in 50 years.

Longtime Kansas City fans should rejoice to see their old head coach wearing a Chiefs Super Bowl hat with a smile on his face. After not being able to win the big one himself, he at least gets to witness the organization he put his heart and soul into win it all while he's still more than well enough to take it all in and enjoy it.

Chiefs fans (and football fans alike) were surely happy to see Schonttenheimer celebrating the outcome of Super Bowl LIV, too.

Even some Raiders fans, who grew up despising anyone associated with their division rival, felt joy after seeing this touching photo.

As Patrick Mahomes doesn't seem to be leaving Kansas City any time soon, Schottenheimer may be able to witness his former team win it all a few more times at this rate.
