After refusing to play for Memphis, Andre Iguodala was finally granted his wish Wednesday night and found himself traded to theMiami Heat. In exchange for Iggy, the Grizzlies will receive a package headlined by Justice Winslow, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
As the NBA trade deadline inched closer, the Grizzlies needed to find a suitor for Iguodala, as he didn't want anything to do with them. Memphis will be adding the 23-year-old Winslow in return, a versatile ball-handler who presents significant upside.

After being selected 10th overall by the Heat in 2015, Winslow's production has been underwhelming so far, averaging 9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in his career to date. He has also been shooting the ball this year at an unfortunat clip, firing below 39% from the field and a horrid 22.2% from beyond the arc. He's played in just 11 games this year while dealing with a nagging back injury.
Winslow will be joining a young and talented Bluff City core headlined by Jaren Jackson Jr. and rookie sensation Ja Morant. While they won't get much further than a first round exit this season if thy make the playoffs at all -- far, far from any gaurantee -- they have a whole lot of potential down the line.
Justise Winslow has been inactive since January 8 and has only played one game since Dec. 6 He's only played 11 games this season and has struggled with back issues.

As for Iguodala, he joins a true contender in the Miami Heat. Iggy has also agreed to a lucrative two-year, $30 million extension, suggesting that Pat Riley and Co. have every intention of running it back next season.
